People's Committee of Dak Lak province works with the Vietnam Institute of Agricultural Technology Application and Development

Pm 5/6, The provincial People's Committee had a meeting with the Mission of Vietnam Institute of Technology and Rural Development on dissemination, Advising and supporting the province on the development of organic agriculture project in the province according to Decree No. 109/2018 / ND-CP dated 29/8/2018 government. Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Ha received and chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, Representatives of the Delegation introduced some highlights of Vietnam National Institute of Agriculture as well as the development of organic agriculture of our country today.; advise and support the province on the development of organic agriculture project in the province.

Leaders of the Vietnam Institute of Rural Technology Application and Development give comments

Dak Lak always determines the role of building and developing organic agriculture in the locality. However, the locality is focusing on developing hi-tech applications under the Project on developing hi-tech agriculture applications in Dak Lak province till the year 2020 in Buon Ma Thuot city, Cu M’gar district. Last time, The whole province has made great efforts to invest, research, Piloting some models of seed production, I have a high productivity, safe; Application of high-yielding livestock breeds such as: Japanese melon pattern; Cocoa growing with banana in South America; Model of Drying House of Plastic Agricultural Products … Especially production according to the chain model, VietGap standards have been positively responded by people and businesses, perform. To the end 2017, had 18.245 ha implements hi-tech agriculture; 500 Animal husbandry applies machinery to serve livestock production; experimenting with high yielding specialty aquatic breeds.

Concluding remarks about the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Ha thanked Viet Nam Institute of Applied Technology and Rural Development for transferring experience., Advise local support to the province on organic agriculture. He assigned Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to act as a focal point to conduct research with the Institute of Applied Technology and Rural Development of Vietnam., revise the development of organic agriculture in the province. At the same time, Vietnam Institute of Technology and Rural Development Research is requested to study the planning, development in the province, have a reality-based survey program to report back to the Provincial People's Committee in the month 7/2019.
